In line with our community objectives, each year we undertake a volunteer community project. Over the years these have included:

 

 

  • Managing the registration for the Monaro High School 50 year reunion
  • Becoming an additional support for the Fire Service during the bush fire period of 2003
  • Assisting the Cooma Monaro Railway inc with general enquiries and bookings
  • Provided sponsorship to the Flamingos, a local junion network team.

 

  • A survey for the Monaro Men's Pit Stop Health Program
  • Contributions to  the Snowy Monaro Business Enterprise Centre (SMBEC)
  • Assess the needs of the locals for an Oncology Unit within Cooma Hospital with the The Monaro committee for Cancer Research
  • Assisted the University of Third Age (U3A) in their endeavours to provide education for people over 50 years of age
  • From June 2008, we adopted the Telecross program as our community project. Run by Red Cross, this service provides a daily call to elderly, isolated, or dependent clients in the community to ensure their wellbing.
